How can curriculum-framing questions help support my students’ learning?
The big idea is a very important step. There is no right or wrong answer which opens up a possibility of options and higher level thinking skills that would otherwise be missed.
How can I plan ongoing student centered assessment?
Students have a say in their own rubrics and may critique each other as well. With this being said, we must make sure to train the children as to how to give back constructive criticisima and teach what should be included in a good rubric. Possibly students should look at the standards and base rubrics off of these.
